The Equitable Building
Baltimore, MD
The Equitable Building, originally constructed in 1891 as Baltimore’s first skyscraper and the oldest structure on Monument Square, stands as a landmark of the city’s architectural heritage. JK Equities, partnered with Bradley Associates, led a complete redevelopment that transformed the historic office building into a vibrant mixed-use property featuring 189 modern rental apartments and ground-floor retail. The project preserved the building’s iconic character while delivering updated living and commercial space that meets today’s market demands. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the revitalized Equitable Building anchors Downtown Baltimore’s City Center and contributes to the neighborhood’s ongoing resurgence.
