Acquired in September 2013, The Equitable Building is a historic building located in Downtown Baltimore’s City Center neighborhood. Originally built in 1891, The Equitable Building is the oldest building in Monument Square and is considered the City’s first skyscraper. The complete renovation transformed this 120 year old, 225,000 SF historic building into 189 market rate, rental apartments while retaining the existing 26,000 square feet of retail space.  Equitable is currently on the National Register of Historic Places.

After operating the property for nearly 8 years, JK Equities sold Equitable in early 2023.
